Yesterday, Zephemeral quoted a lengthy description of individuals who play real-time (as in no time compression) submarine sims for weeks on end, some taking missions seriously enough to lock themselves (hopefully not literally…) into small areas of their homes with food and a computer during accumulated vacation time in order to better simulate the true experience.
